I bought a new Beetle in 99 when they came out - and was impressed. I'd be open to a new.....TR!

:iagree: The Mini is front drive. A proper roadster should be rear drive...as God intended...
 
Well, at least the pictured the Triumph auto wreath, not the motorcycle sweep.

Understandable, since that "motorcycle sweep" logo went with the motorcycle business when it was sold off originally in the 1930s! After that, Triumph cars pretty much went with the "World" logo. After the takeover by Standard at the end of WWII, the World logo continued for Triumphs even as a Triumph version of the Standard "shield" badge/logo began to appear. That "laurel wreath" Triumph logo is pretty much a mid-1970s thing.
