TR4/4A Gearbox mount orientation?

Finally wrestled the the gearbox onto the motor. (Funny how sometimes it slides right in on the first try and other times it takes hours to line up). For the rear gearbox mount there is 1&1/4" lip on top of the mount....should this lip be on the back of the mount or the other way around so it is on the front of the mount? Is the lip to prevent the gearbox from moving forward or backward. Dyslexia strikes! I have the lip at the back but the large bolts that hold the box to the mount don't line up properly. Also the manual seems to show only 2 bolts holding the mount to the frame...mine has 4...a changeover for later models?
 
As I recall, that piece only fits one way. The 4 holes aren't quite rectangular.
Anyway, mine has the flange on the top back. I had to bend it down slightly to clear the 4 synchro gearbox.
