TR2/3/3A Gearbox clutch adjustment.

My clutch pedal is getting farther down towards the floor before it engages. I am due for a new clutch setup as it has been awhile since I have replaced it. The gearbox shifts well and what I would like to do is finish out the summer with it and replace it in the winter months. Here is my question: Do I need to adjust the slave cylinder rod or the master cylinder rod to raise the contact point where the pedal engages? Because I always get this mixed up...am I to turn the rod in towards the cylinder or do I back it out away from the cylinder? My mild dyslexia always gets me in these situations.

Adjust the master cylinder rod to get full travel and still allow the piston to fully return. Then, adjust the slave rod according to the book. I can elaborate either if you need it.

If the pedal is dropping, then in all likelihood the piston seal for the master is slowly dying. But you may be able to adjust it to get through the summer.
