Gear Oil Leak

My leak is definitely from the gearbox. I top it up every 100 miles or month out of service. I have a long, metal drip pan and keep track of how much has leaked. Fortunately a TR3 has a gearbox dip stick, so I can keep track of gearbox oil level. I would like to slow down the leak if stop-leak additives work.

I found that when the oil level in my Healey transmission drops to 1/8” above the low level mark, the leakage stops.
