Most of you guys already know that I've been working on gauge replacement. So here's an update on my progress. Its been slow due to the mail system taking their sweet time on getting my parts/adapters to me.

Looks nice so far don't it?

BTW, now that I got a nice temp gauge that seems to be working well... whats normal operating temp for my 1500 engine? I had her running for a good 20 minutes last night and I got up to about 180F and my fan never kicked on. I think my electric fan is supposed to come on at 185F but I can't seem to remember. Its one of those 10 inchers from Moss.

Found it  "The preset temperature control will turn the fan on at 185°F and off at 170°F." I guess that means I'll have to run it a bit longer

With a load on it!

...BTW... What's that horse doin' on yer beer locker?!?

I believe the "F" people prefer the verb, "prancing."

Don't forget that the temperature isn't necessarily the same at all points. The temp at the thermostat housing (where your temp gauge measures) may be quite a bit higher than a radiator tank, for example (which I'm assuming is where your fan switch is mounted).

Looks really good, where are you going to put the propeller...pusher or puller?

HAHA! That little propeller is from the Navy UAV's I used to pilot. Its a trophy from the plane I crashed through the trees, and still managed to land fine... dragging branches and all!
