TR6 Gauge wiring TR-6, '74

After replacing green wire to heater due to direct short to ground, I now have to re-connect all gauge wiring. It has been over a year and 1/2 since I connected these gauges up correctly. I know what color wires go to the different gauges...just want to make sure I connect the wires to the correct side of the gauges...or does it matter?

For the tabs on the gauges, it doesn't matter which is which. The gauges are not polarity-sensitive.

As Randall said, the later gauges as used in the TR6 are not polarity sensitive.

The output from the voltage stabilizer's "I" terminal goes to one tab on each gauge. The other tab on the fuel gauge gets the green/black wire. The temperature gauge open tab gets the green/blue wire.
