I’m going to assume you mean bulbs not globes so you're referring to the small backlight bulbs?
Sounds like you have a bad ground connect somewhere.
Online
Is the dash light switch off?
Do the tail lights and front marker lights come on?
Is the red wire from the lighting switch disconnected?
Check the grounds as noted by Healey Nut.
