gassy carbs and other diet woes

ok I got the distributer to the right place but now the fule pump just pumps Gas out of the little over flow spout on the back carb. where most of it drops down on the exsust pipe.
what do I tweek?

Are you running a generic fuel pump? Sometimes they put out too much pressure and over power the carb floats. That can be fixed by putting a pressure regulator inline. However, the conventional wisdom is that the best solution is buying the correct pump.

If that is not the problem, then remove your float bowls and check your floats. Either the valve is stuck/broken or the floats themselves are.
 
Whoot. low pressure pump, like 3 lbs pressure for these.
