Every time I have glanced through the forum this past week I have seen the:

"IMPORTANT - Forum to be closed for server"

thread at the top of each page ... I keep reading it as:

"IMPORTANT - Forum to be closed forever"

and I have had a momentary "gasp" moment.

Its probably telling me subconsciously to become a subscriber again! :smile:

I went to one of my favorite "non-automotive" sites this morning and got a white page with these words:

[h=1]It's dead, Jim[/h]Hardware failure requiring a trip to San Jose to sort out (eta 5PM PST.) The site may be down for most of the evening, if not the weekend, depending on the severity of the failure and the degree of Kung Fu necessary to bring us back online. We'll continue to update with progress reports, with the next likely within an hour of getting hands-on with the smoldering device. Next update 6-7PM PST.
