Gasoline resistant sealing tape?

While poking around under my 1958 Rambler, I noticed a tiny problem. :cower:

The hose connecting the fuel filler neck to the fuel tank neck is soft and "spongey". Note the light colored area, which is beginning to seep fuel.

Until I get a new hose, is there some kind of fuel-resistant sealing tape, amalgamating tape, etc. I can wrap around that hose?

Thanks.
Tom M.

Moss sells a quick fix tape that would probably work. I used it on my overflow tube and it holds up.
Silicon base, probably buy you some time. I believe I have also seen similar items in the local hardware store.

Thanks for the suggestion. Moss's X-Treme silicone tape isn't gasoline resistant, but I've asked Moss for any other recommendations. There's no pressure in that hose, but the rubber has been softened by 50+ years of gasoline.

My 77 Ford RV is not as old, but I had to break down and replace the vent lines. These newer fuels go right thru the old rubber, even after being already old.
