Gaskets......

I know I saw this on a post in the last month, but came up short in the search so I apologise.

1. Just rec'd a head gasket (as there seems to be shortage of Payen) and it doesn't have TOP or FRONT stamped on it. I'm worried about its quality in that regard...

2. Just rec'd a bunch of misc gaskets, and for the carb spacers, they are smooth textured on one side and paper on the other. I'm guessing that the paper goes against the heatshield, but would like to be 100% sure.

3. Three gaskets showed up that I have no idea what they are for, they are slightly bigger than air cleaner/carb gaskets and have an extra curve with a wider gap for the bolt holes. Any suggestions?

Todays head sets are more universal. They throw in 1.5 SU carb gaskets along with 1.25.
The new head gaskets are omnidirectional, so it doesn't matter which end is front. They put a couple extra holes in them to eliminate the front/top questions.
