I've installed a new gas tank and a new sending unit. Should I use a gasket sealer with the sending unit? And if so, what kind? Thanks!

And can anybody tell me how to keep the program from rotating my pictures!

Generally if you are fitting a new gasket to the tank it is only necessary to make sure the mating surfaces on the tank and sending unit are both clean and free of rust and other deposits. No sealant is necessary if the surfaces have no pits.

If there is a little bit of pitting you can use Hylomar or Permatex PermaShield (#85420). The Permatex sealant is available in some stores. I have ordered it through Amazon.

Do NOT try and improvise with RTV silicone. RTV is not fuel compatible.
