gas tank outlet

As some one before me said, I am only 22 years into a 5 year restoration. I am getting closer by the month, but I have hit a snag. While I kept what appeared to be the best gas tank it appears to not have the male 90 degree elbow coming out of the tank that tank that the gas line attaches to. Does any one know where I can got one? Does any one have a crapped out tank with one still on? I think that it is a 1/4" BSPP, any ideas? Hoping to make Vermont this July!!!!

Hi Healeyguy, Google; Mr Finespanner. He has a solution for that Problem.---Keoke

The following tech article goes over the problem Keoke is referring to:

fuel tank problem

But it sounds like you are missing the whole fitting, correct? as in the following picture:

fuel tank fitting

If so, I don't know where to get one except to check with the vendors that have used parts, check with one of the vendors who sells Healey tanks on ebay or maybe someone here will respond. BTW, this fitting is welded in and has a pick up tube and screen on the other end (it's not as easy as screwing on a new fitting).

Cheers,
John
