Gas analyzers

Moss sells a gas analyzer by Gunson. Has anyone used one? Is it worth the money? Gunson also sells one that is cheaper and I was wondering if it was any different. I use a Gunson color tune and it works well but judging color is a bit subjective unless you use two of them at the same time and compare the color.

For that kind of money, I'd opt for a wide band O2 sensor and gauge such as what Moss has. I have a similar unit in my TR3, and it made a world of difference. It showed me where and when I was running lean or rich on the fly. Since my engine is modified, I was able to straighten it all out with different needles in the SU's and appropriate adjustments.

I have one and it's been gathering dust on the shelf for years as I didn't find it that useful. I also have an innovate motorsports LM-1 which uses a wide band 02 sensor and optional tach input. It gives both real time data and records the data which you can then view on a computer.

Hey I got 2 brand new LM-1's I would like to part with.
I think I have the gauges too.
