TR6 Fuse locations for the Fuel and Temp gauges

Any idea where the fuses are located for the temp and fuel gauges?

Probably is something associated with the voltage stabilizer.
This is what it looks like mounted to the speedometer.

There's no adjustment, but there is only that screw you see in the picture and the wires to undo if you need to replace it.
Sometimes the problem is just that a wire has become disconnected.
 
I replaced my voltage stabilizer with a solid state device that puts out 10v dc. It’s been in the car and working perfectly for over 20 years.
 
Where did you purchase it from?
Honestly, it’s been so long that I don’t remember. You can probably look up a solid state device that inputs 12v dc and outputs 10v dc.
 
Moss has them but reports claim you take your chance as far as reliability
Check the wire connections on yours before you buy a new one.
 
Agree with poolboy.... check it out with a volt meter to make sure it isn't working.
Here's a sold state voltage regulator. I don't have one, nor do I know anyone that does. I'm just throwing out there because as Poolboy said some of the ones by the major suppliers may not be reliable.
 
Dave Connitt's regulator looks good to me, although I have never used one. I like the fact that he goes to considerable effort to make sure it's reliable.

These things are based on a 7810 voltage regulator chip. Anyone electronically knowledgeable can make one easily. I have one in my 4A, and it has been fine for several years since I installed it.
 
And, the 7810 chipset is cheap too.

Also any idea why Moss closed their east coast stores?
 
The stabilize is labled "B" for the solid green wires which are positive and "I" for the light green wire that feeds the 2 gauges.
The ground wires (negative) on the TR6 is always BLACK
Looks like you are going to need to open that link Gliderman8 provided and get familiar with our electrical system and components.
I don't know how you can own and maintain one of these cars without this. This is free but the paper addition book is invaluable which you can buy at MOSS. which was sold to a conglomerate not that long ago....many changes since.

The original thermal ones had no polarity. The solid-state ones do have a polarity. Like everything else in the car, they are connected into in the ungrounded side of the electrical supply, which is positive, since all these cars are negative ground.
