the diagram does not show where it goes - everything else hooked up as per the book - any ideas?

thanks

Could it be the pick up for your power? I think on the bugeye it is.

On a bugeye the heavy brown is the power lead.

there is alreay a brown wire to the fusebox - what power? is the power lead?

Your connections don't look the same as mine (on my 78).
Which brown wire are you referring to?
The heavy gauge brown wire has +12VDC always on.
Things that get power all the time regardless of key position connect to it (through a fuse of course).

Figured it out - goes in the "white" rectangular box thingie (technical name) - had a former Triumph wiring guy helping me today - we're close - see the new post
