Fuse Box connections

In an effort to resolve some of my Midget's electrical issues I installed a new fuse box. I connected all the wiring the same as the original fusebox but I am not sure it is really correct. Here is the way it is connected at present but I want to make sure it is right before reconnecting the battery (lowest numbers are to the front of the car with even numbers closer to the fender). This is a 1973 US-spec car.

#1 - Empty
#3 - Red/Green on bottom connector
#5 - Double white on top connector
#7 - Single brown on bottom connector

#2 - Double red on bottom connector
#4 - Double red on bottom connector
#6 - Double green on bottom connector
#8 - Single purple on top lug; double purple on bottom connector

Can anyone let me know if this looks right? Thanks!

I think #1 and #3 should be the other way round,with #3 the blank one.

Put a 20 amp fuse on the battery hot lead to the wireing, not the starter. Then test.
