Looks like it comes from England; it's an Oxford.
 
I was looking for something more along the lines of a Land Rover based Wellington. For the farm, you know.
 
Can't be.
No telling what kind of photoshopping it is, but it's gotta be fake.
You can't drive it.
No way to see forward at all. No way to see out the right side at all.
Add to that the folded down top still visible behind the driver...well, think about it.

Why would someone do that and make something undriveable?

I just googled "Shoe Car" just to see if there are more pictures of the car. I expected to see a bunch of brake shoes - but no, there are a ton of similar constructions out there!! Not sure which of the photos are real vs photoshopped, but given the quantity it appears some are real.

I respect folks that do these crazy things to their cars, even if not in my taste. It takes a good bit of creativity and craftsmanship to do this!
