Quick question.

The fulcrum pin for the front suspension, pin to chassis according to the spare parts catalogue takes two different fasteners. A 1 3/4 X 3/8 inch bolt on the "outer" and a 1 X 3/8 inch cap screw/set screw on the "inner". Am I correct to assume that the "inner" would be closer to the body tub?

"Inner" = closer to center of car.

Inner fixings (engine side) are just a bolt/split washer as there is a captive nut inside the tower. Outer fixings are bolts with loose nuts/flat & split washers. The loose nuts up in the tower are why the upper fulcrum pin has to be fitted before the coil spring.

Thanks for the confirmation guys.

Just wanted to update this thread .....

Installed the fulcrum pin tonight....the 1 inch set screw/cap screw that threads into the captive nuts is on the outer side and NOT the inner.
