Fuel Selection

You have no choice apart from the grade as it's all unleaded now. You may choose to use a lead substitute like Red-Line or some other brand. Do not confuse octane boosters with lead substitutes.

You probably don't need to do anything else special until you're ready to rebuild the head or engine. When you're having the engine rebuilt have hardened exhaust valve seats installed during the head rebuild.

Funny you should mention that. I am rebuilding the head. If I buy valve seats from Moss will they do?

Your machine shop should be able to provide seats with out difficulity. Valves as well.

Machine shop will cut the old seats out & press new in - they'll be for unleaded....don't try to source seats, let the machine shop sullpy them...everything else, source yourself.
