65 Sprite, fuel pump vent. When I bought the car the vent tubing was just hanging under the car from the pump. Where is supposed to end and how is it routed? Thanks in advance.

OMG- sunshine 2 days in a row here in central Ohio!

Good question, mine never had tubing on it so I have not known any differently. I too look forward to this answer.

Is'nt it supposed to go to a little plastic T inside the "boot"?

Kurt.

I'm sorry I was thinking of the wrong item, I was referring to the vent on the carbureators. Is there a tube suppose to be connected to that? Regarding the fuel pum, yes the tube vents into the trunk on a t connector.

I don't think the tube vents anywhere. On later model 1500s there is a return to the tank for fumes, but, with my SU, it just vents to the air. I know some people have extended a hose in case there is any spitting so that it hits the road not the engine, same with crankcase ventilation.
