Fuel Pump question

If two FACET cube pumps (nominal 2.5 psi) mounted in series were both operating at the same time would this double the fuel pressure?

Yes, Would look just like two batteries connected in Series.---Keoke

Generally speaking, you'd be looking for more volume, not pressure.

Connecting the same two (2) pumps in parallel would (theoretically) give you twice the volume at the same 2.5 psi) pressure.

Webers only want to see < 2.5 psi (seems the number is in inches of water column but I don't remember the exact number) and seems that SUs are similar.

I elected to go with the big Facet Interupter Type and a regulator.

That is correct Randy. Connected in Parallel they now look like two batteries connected up the same. Twice the Ampere hours capacity of the batteries but the same voltage output---Keoke

Randy--

The Purolator site says that the internal filter is easily changed--does the end cover come off to access it as the photo seems to show?

Yes, though I have yet to take it out. I don't even remember what seals it (O-ring?).

Considering that I started out with a new tank (purged before installation), I doubt it has collected much debris; the disposable filter after the regulator gets changed annually.
