Fuel Pump Q

I have a '65 Sprite with a 1275cc engine in it. I need to buy a new fuel pump, should I buy the one that goes with the engine or the car? Did SU fuel pumps differ greatly between 1098 & 1275 engines? If I buy the 1275cc one, will it bolt right in to the stock location on a 1098 car?

More than the car/engine you should look more at positive/negative ground. The original pumps work for either setup but the ones at VB and Moss must have some electronics in them that require one ground or the other. Any pump for "the Spridget" should physically mount fine in any car that has the original bracket ('65 and up).
