Fuel pump polarity sensitive?

Hey all,

Yet another question from me. I tried to identify my fuel pump to see if it is polarity sensitive but I am unable to make sure it is.

There is no identification tag on it. All texts are:
Haroi (seems to be the brand)
Made in Germany
11112 12V 12 34 90 12
Outlet
Inlet
Oben-Top
12V 396

There does not seem to be a diode under the plastic cap. Do I have to take it apart even further? Or can I just leave it connected as it originally was and convert my car to negative ground? Or should I switch the wires?

Actually it's harDi instead of harOi. Unfortunately I still cannot find this specific pump anywhere.

After the conversion my car was still driving so I suppose it worked /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
