Hate to post and run but I'm being rushed here. Just received my fuel pump rebuild kit after waiting 2 weeks on a backorder. Just got a itch to drive tonite....
I have 2 extra parts, a extra black seal ring thats just a tad smaller than the one used on the top. And I have a gold screen about 2" round with a 1/2" hole in the center. Are these parts maybe used on a different fuel pump? I do have the original AC pump. Thanks ahead........

Aloha Floyd,

The round gold screen sounds like part of the TR2,3,4 AC fuel pump rebuild kit. I've never taken apart a TR6 fuel pump and although they look different, the internal parts are similar. Perhaps you have a "universal" rebuild kit with parts to fit several different AC fuel pumps.

I've look everywhere and could not find antwhere to put them so that's what I was assuming also. I stuck it on the car and away we went, and I made it back too. So alls good.
Sorry I didn't specify the car. I was running late to pick somebody up. Thanks again..........

I ordered the kit from TRF. They were out of one of the gaskets, thats why the B/O. The pump is on a 75 TR6.

If you are talking the pump mounting gasket, head for your nearest parts house and get a fuel pump mounting gasket for a big block Chebby.

The fuel pump rebuild kits I got for my TR3 and TR4 also had two black round ones. I only had use for the smaller ones (they are used for the top of the glass bowl beside the pump). SO I think the other poster is right that they are TR3/4 bits.

I would be happy to take your left over one off your hands as I find these need to be replaced every so often.
