Fuel Pump...Berzerk?

Hi All!

Thought I would put the battery in the Healey today, it is nearly May right eventhough I don't really have time to fiddle with it and the weather is raining and miserable....

So everything is good, new battery in and ready to go, I turn the key on and the fuel pump is clicking like crazy, rapid fire with no signs of slowing down. Never heard it do this before, didn't have time to look at it anymore today because of work. Any ideas?

Here is a link if you want to hear it.

As a frequent fuel pump replacer (see photo in Reeds column this months AH America mag), the trick is to blow into the gas tank, hard, a couple of times. Kind of like mouth to mouth, you need to force air into the pump.
