For those of us that enjoy working on our Healey's so much that we purposely break things so we can do even more work, here's the correct way to install the fuel pump lines with banjo bolts:
" The correct SU banjo bolt is part number AUC 2698 and the length is 1.865" from under side of the hex to the end of the bolt, the SU banjos is 11/16" deep but with a recess for the sealing washer p/no. AUC 2141, the washer should be fitted both sides of the banjo with the recess in the banjo facing the bolt head, the washer is a tight fit in this recess and the bolt is used to push the washer into the recess when the bolt is tightened, this gives a good seal, the `O' ring P/NO. AUB654 should also be used between the pump body in its recess and the first banjo washer."
This is a direct quote from Burlen.
