fuel problems?

I took the car out Saturday, no problems except a smell of fuel in the car. Sunday, she refused to start. I'm thinking fuel filter maybe. She turns over, dashboard lights up, just refuses to start. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Try disconnecting the fuel line at the carb and give her a turn, if you have gas you have another problem, also check for spark.

in storage too long and never changed, plugs were corroded. Looking also at the what setting the temperature is. It was in Massachusetts previously.

Just to bring everyone up to date, the third mechanic corectly diagnosed the problem as the fuel enjector seals were leaking. He replaced the seals and the sparkplug wires. In all, $1300 for three mechanics. Will be able to drive her later this week.

Inquiring minds still want to know: what kind of car is it?

I second that.
I'm guessing, with the comment about fuel injectors, that its newer than 1980. But not a Jag as it would be listed in the Jag forum.
Lotus maybe? or a newer Morgan?
