TR2/3/3A Fuel Lines 61TR3A

Has anyone changed out their steel fuel lines for braided lines? If so how do you attatch to the carb bowls?
I saw a MGTD that had made the change and they really looked good and probably added a degree of safety.
Thanks
Earl

TD's have banjo-bolt connections to the floats. Same thing was available on earlier TR3's until they switched to the press on lines like you probably have. Take a look at the carb pages for TR3's on the Moss site to see what I mean.

It looks like you could buy a new set of the old float lids and then be able to hook up the braided lines with banjos... it appears that the actual float bowls are the same.

I use "petroflex" braided stainless braided gas lines from minimania.com for press-on fittings. They sell them in various lengths and are really nice. Petroflex is made by Smiths in U.K. p/n FAB101 is 2-5/8", comes with clamps, p/n FAB102 is 6-1/2" also with clamps.
