Fuel Line Question

Will be replacing the fuel line from the tank
to the pump next week on the 4aIRS. Has anyone
had any problems with the rubber connectors leaking.
If so,any ideas for an alternative ?

Harry,

My restoration was a long time ago but I did not replace the metal fuel line at the time. I never had any issues with the rubber lines leaking (which I did replace of course) and I thought it was 5/16". I'm not sure how that corresponds to the numbering system you mention).

If you are indeed referring to those 2 short sections of fuel lines that connect the hard line -- no problems with leaking other than fuel lines do eventually get old.

You will want to use the best (I used fuel injection hose) as the rear one requires draining the tank which is inconvenient enough you won't want to do it again anytime soon.
