Re: Fuel injection system for Healeys now availabl
Three point Two (3.2) litre, DOHC/24 valve, 315 to 343 bhp (depending on model), continuously variable timing (intake & exhaust), 11.5:1 compression ratio.
The swap would require a stand-alone engine management system (like TEK-3), and a different sump to stand the engine upright...
In the gray car sans the airbox, showing off 50mm throttle bodies
Maybe I'll just leave it where it belongs /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
When it comes to a more modern I-6 engine, it's hard to think about anything but this:JamesWilson said:It seems to me that the cost and customized effort needed to put a supercharger or fuel injection onto a Healey are overkill given the basic design of the engine. I think if I wanted that much more performance the small V-8 nasty boy route would be the one to take, or even a more modern 6....
But I'm going to keep the Healey engine, and massage it a little (or a lot) when that time comes....
