That is a pull through system. Since you are using the MegaSquirt, wouldn't it be easy to make a blow through system? Then the manifold costs are small, and you could incorporate an intercooler.

Absolutely. Unless packaging constraints are an issue I wouldn't do it that way; it was just something to look at.

You'd need to make a few changes to the carb body to handle the pressure if you do a blow through is all.

Ahh, true. You would need to seal the throttle shaft and such.
