The cost to rebuild your Sprite fuel gauge is $105 plus shipping. All of our rebuilds are calibrated to original factory specifications and are guaranteed for one year. Our current turnaround time is about 8 weeks.

This is Nisonger.

Boy oh boy, gauges are dear. But at least the option is open.

Oh, did not. Was not there last evening.

repair costs usually do not include cosmetic restorations.

This one I have does not need cosmetic restoration, it is super in fact, very nice face and great ring.

Okay, so I bought the correct tack off of ebay. The one I fried was (I believe) a later model. It supposedly works. Now I can take my new found knowledge from this weekend and actually test it. I'll have to look at the cosmetics of the gauge and see what is needed. I guess I could use some of the parts off of the one that doesn't work now.

I believe that Nisonger does in fact restore the cosmetics when you send it to them. I just wonder if that is included in the $105 fee?

I would bet nothing goes out the door there that is not first class, would be a way to get a bad rep quick to do otherwise.

They repair and calibrate what they're sent, clean it as best they can. I've never asked for a "cosmetic" refurb, but have never been disappointed in any way with anything I got back from them. First class operation, AFAIC.

Thanks fellas. With that, I will probably send the new one off if it doesn't work/look good. Unless I can clean it up myself.
