fuel gauge registration - BN7

Does anyone have the resistance specs on a fuel tank sender for a BJ7?

I have looked high and low and can't find anything specific to that model.

What I did find indicates that there should be 0 to 20 ohms resistance when full and lots, perhaps 150, when the float arm had dropped fully.

I have the rheostat "wand" set to give just that output and it looks like the gauge is reading correctly, but I thought that I would check in to see if anyone had more information anyway.

Any specific help or just a nudge toward another resource would be appreciated.

Also, has anyone installed a voltage stabilizer in that circuit?

I am in a small town north of Albuquerque on the way to Santa Fe. In a town of 8500 we have 6 healeys.
Many other fine old classics also, great place.
I have spent a lot of time in Italy, from Sorrento to climbing in the Dolamites. Lost my wife in Bologna one year, she got on the wrong train, she spent the night near the Adriatic, I enjoyed a great meal in Firenze. Last March we visited friends Veneto North of Venezia.
Great country you are in.

I also tripped around America from USUAIA to ALASKA North pole circle Cooldfoot (not in New Mexico) but never lost my wife
