Do others here install a disposable fuel filter to augment the screen filter on the fuel pump? If so, where is a good place to locate it?

I don't but know that some do, perhaps it is helpful if your tank is corroded a bit inside.

The flexible line just before the fuel pump would be a pretty simple location but if it was on the flexible line just before the carbs it would at least avoid anything the screen filter in the glass bowl can catch.

I have a disposable fuel filter (Fram I think) mounted in the fuel line just before the front card. It has a clear plastic body, so it is easy to see if you are getting fuel to the carbs. These filters are not always full of gas, so don't be alarmed if you see an air space in the filter. Also done over do the filtration, it can cause fuel starvation. You also have the small screens at the fuel bowl covers on each carb.
