Who can tell which fuel filler cap was used on race/rally 3000 models and what was the diameter used ?

Has someone a picture of such a fuel filler cap?

Hi Hama,
Check out Derek Job's site. He has extensive racing history photos, look in the left column of THIS page.

It was probably tthe Aston or Monza cap from Enot's in England. Mocal Oil Systems still sells them here in the states. Just put one (Aston) on my BJ7 and love it.

Was there a particular size neck/collar that fits best on your BJ7? And do you have their U.S. website? I googled "Mocal Oil Systems" and everyone but theirs comes up.

Thanks!

Charlie,
I believe that it was the 2.5" size. Check the OD of the filler tube. I purchased the screw on cap and a 2.5" threaded collar to press onto the original filler tube. I had to cut off the flanged top of the tube to get it to fit. I found them using a Google search of "aston cap". The first hit is them. Or here is the link
