Totally agree. I've used MMO with no ill effects for decades. I don't use an oiler, just pour a little in the fuel. I purchase by the gallon (~$20-someting) which is much less expensive than the little bottles and lasts a couple of years. I also find my stock 3A engine requires premium octane fuel. Starts better IMO and stops ping in high gear on an uphill that is evident with 87 octane. The only snake oils that I use. And if you use a chain saw (I have several since we heat exclusively with wood), high octane is absolutely required if you want a good easy starting saw. MMO is also good for cleaning/draining engine cases prior to adding new oil, I just add some, slop it around and drain. I save the "used" MMO as a solvent for sludgy clean ups. You'd be amazed on what drains out with MMO after you think all the dirty oil is drained.
