Frozen world

Re: Frozen world [& MGB's]

We got frozen rain last night - my Rx-7 has got a 1cm coating of ice - I think I'll just wait for it to thaw ...

Re: Frozen world [& MGB's]

I too would rather deal with 10" of snow than this stuff. It's like concrete.

I agree, Vinnie that stuff was a bear to clean here. Must have been four inches of solid ice.

Tag me a nice big pointer when ya get a chance, I will make us up some homemade sausage.

You had me scratching my head for a couple seconds before I realized it was a model. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Can't really say I have any fond memories
of shoveling snow and ice.

How we spent the March 07 blizzard weekend:

Mom's friends mum lives in PR. Her and her friend were thinking about moving there.

My Miata---My driveway. NOT a model. (from a previous winter).

Today, I tried to shovel the frozen mound of snow left blocking my driveway by the plow.
Snow shovel wouldn't work because it was too frozen.
Ended up chopping it out using a garden spade and hoe.

Awfully nice of those plow guys. Plow the streets so that people can drive but they can't get outta their driveways. Seems kind of a bass ackwards way of thinking if you ask me.
Those of us not snow challenged never encounter such luxuries and considerances. (is that a word?)

vping, if you lived in the town of Smithtown, you could call them up, and they will send out a plow to clear the front of your driveway after they blocked it in. I know this for a fact, because one of my neigbors did just that. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Re: Frozen world [& MGB's]

Is he "connected". I've found that it is not how you say it or how loud say it but who you know to get it done. I've got a friend in St. James, who does a lot of construction and is well connected up those parts.
