Some time back I read--perhaps on this forum--about a technique for aligning front wheels involving putting small pieces of plywood on the garage floor. I recall the basic concept but not the details. If anyone is familiar with this method could they please enlighten me as to how to proceed.

Any responders? I'd be interested in this, as well.

None, though I know it was discussed.

Michael, you need to "string" align your race car, setting the toe alne dones not insure the car is tracking stright, string alignment take the back wheels into account as wel, and is basicly what the fancy alignamnet machines are doing when they do athurst alignament. You can do this with simple tools, and it will be far better than any attempt to simply set the toe.

Nial--

That's the method I was referring to. Thanks mucho.
