Hello all, having a hard time trying to post a picture with my post. anyway if you look at my picture in the members picture section and tell me what this front valance and surround came off of. I got it with a parts car I bought but can not figure out what car its for, thanks in advance Alan.

Sorry not a Triumph, I have looked at the Moss books online and no luck there, so keep guessing. sure looks like it should go on a Spridget or some kind of aftermarket body kit.

The size and shape is perfect for an early box Sprite or Midget but I don't see the usual holes for the bumper mounts or for the hood latch and safety catch. Are there any signs of previous body work on the piece?
The layout of mounting bolts seems in line with a Spridget, with the correct two bolts on each side for the front wings and the holes in the lower pan for the mounts to the frame extensions. Also the radiator support holes are there and the holes on either side for the lamp wiring to route through.

Hey Bill, no it looks like it was made that way, or someone did a good job making it look like its one piece. it came with a 72 parts car I bought but it was not installed, also the same car that had the narrow roll bar that is shown in my pictures. thought maybe they were raceing parts?
