Well apart from installing a kingpin on the wrong side (the brake caliper bolt holes face the firewall on both sides) I managed to reinstall the kingpins and new springs. Someone posted that you should line up the top of the spring first then snug up the hydraulic jack under the spring pan and the rest is history. Did that right the first time thanks to someone's post. What I need to know now is the orientation of the rotor dust guards. Does the piece that is cut out face directly to 3 oclock on the drivers side?

Where are your calipers located? I know that soundslike a stupid question, however, the cut-out portion goes where they are located - which, by the way, is towards the rear of the car....3 o'clock on driver side; 9 o'clock on passenger.

the calipers are tucked up and resting/being held up on something in the 3 o'clock position. If you look carfully you can see the flex line in that area.

Oops, sorry - didn't notice the "attachment" banner

you're good to go
