Hi everyone
I am in the process of cleaning and painting the front springs on my BN4. I notice that one has the remnants of a green stripe and one a yellow stripe. I read somewhere about these, but can't find it. Can anyone shed light on this?
Cheers
Matthew

mid 57 BN4 has a green stripe on both springs and I know there was a change in spring earlier in BN4 production but don't know the colour. 62 BT7 has red stripes.

The number of coils and thickness of the wire determine the rate so you should be able to identify if they are the same or different. Andy.

THanks Andy
my BN4 is is a late one. Number 76762. The springs look identical, same length and thickness. So all should be good
Cheers
Matthew
