What is the overall length of the splash panel behind the front bumper. I believe the PO gave me a 100/4 splash panel for my 100/6. Mounting holes are off a little and the contours appear somewhat different. If I do have a 100/4 panel I would love to swap it for a later one or sell it outright. Thanks, Bob
 
Hi Bob, The 100 splash panel bolts directly to the car body, while the Six clyn cars have two slotted extensions along the front edge that bolt to the the two in board bumper bracket attach points.--Fwiw--Keoke

If you do have the correct part for your car, per Mr. Keoke's description, I'll add one small note. I had all the original body panels for my 100 and the first thing I figured out was that almost nothing lines up very well. Sometimes I had to walk away after a session because I was either going to hurt myself or the car trying to "fit " pieces. They don't call the body guys panel beaters for nothing.

My splash shield is a hair longer than 47 inches. It also has four slots in the edge of the panel so it should bolt to all of the bumper bolts. Two inboard slots line up well but the two outboard slots are off by about an inch. What concerns me is it doesn't look like it will match up with the contours of the shroud. Not to big of a deal to widen the slots but it is already painted! Jon, I feel your pain, spent a couple hours just trying to get the hood centered in the opening without rubbing when lifting. Not sure all my body parts came from the same car since it was disassembled when purchased. Bob
