Front Shroud 1974

I picked this 1974 shroud up on ebay. I want to use it on my 76 tub and already cut and smoothed the frame rails, but I am trying to make this tub look like a pre-rubber tub. Any one have a pic or two of a chrome bumper car with the front fenders and hood off so I can see what this arear of the car is supposed to look like?

The color doesn't lend itself to clarity but try these. Not that the radiator support has been modified for a different radiator.

Those pictures are invaluable. Many Thanks! It appears that there are some extender pnels on mty car that just need to be worked off. Does the front shroud assembly attach to the radiator supports? On the 76 it is a welded piece at top and bottom.
BTW that is a fine example of a project!

The shroud bolts to the inside edge of the radiator support. If you look close on the outside you can see three nuts that are welded to the radiator support.

That's too funny... I got the passenger-side fender from the same car (as a prelude to a chrome-bumper conversion.) Our cars are going to be related! hehe

That is too funny! Turns out Im not going to use many of the parts from my orange midget once Ive got my other going to Ill give this forum first dibs before anything hits ebay. Thats a while out though. I must say the gentleman that built my engine really put some time and money in it. Its a shame but a 1275 or 1098 will do me justice

So, tell us about the engine.

If you're looking for a 1098 engine, I've got one in my garage that I bought off of Ebay. PM me if you're interested. I think I have the write-up/pictures that the seller posted.

I can email those to you.

Or anyone else whose interested. It's a full engine. No flywheel.

Im going to hold off a bit til I get the tub finished, Then I'd like to disemble the test car keep or part out its various bits and make room to spread out for an engine build. Be about 8 months or so yet. As for the 1500 that's in my bondo buggy, (Mind you I bought this car for $600 with most of the reciepts.)

Balnaced the rotating assembly.
Lightened/ Balanced the flywheel,
Oil feed line kit to drockers
Flat top pistons
1500rpm+ New Cam
4into 1 header (Dont know who's)
3 angle valve job, new valves
new water pump, oil pump,Timing Set, New Bearings
New Clutch and Pressure Plate,
New Slave cyl., new throwout & piolet Bearings
Backup Elect Fuel Pump.
Weber Downdraft (The one pitfall)
Summit Regulator, Liquid press. guage.
Oil Cooler and spin on filter
Elect fan set up
Crane elect ign and coil

Amongsth this he also gave me:
A 2nd windscreen
Full set of a arms, spindles, hubs etc.. used.
A new unmounted top
A set of autometer gauges
A spare 1500 trans (Now resealed and installed)
Monza exhaust (Now on Rick B's Car)
OEM style new muffler/resonator setup

Not ball for $600. A few hundred out of my own pocket and it's become quite a resonable dailey Driver. Not looking bad either. I'd keep it but the Body was an inappropriatally repaired PA Car and is being held together with varios pieces of metal rivets and bondo, While my 76 Tub is nearly rust free.

Sounds like it should be a solid engine.
