Front hinge brackets

My bugeye has a front tilt hood that was done at some point in its past by welding a tube under the chin with a rod running through it and two simple brackets on the frame. I have a copy of a PDF showing a very nice set of brackets that use most of the original holes and has a built in stop.

Has anyone made a set of these? Any idea what the cost would be to have the pieces cut out? I don't want to pay the price that Moss asks for their similar "kit".

Thanks,

Ben in SC

The cool thing is to use the origin latch assembly. You have to notch the chin to clear the frame rails. Then you can just twist the handle to remove the bonnet altogether. Gotta remove the bupper to do it.
