Front Fender Variances - Big Healey

I have been offered a perfect NOS front right fender - obviously from an earlier Healey version - as the original parts label on it is indicating.
Does anybody know if there are design / fixing differences between early and late level front fenders ? If so can an early level fender (easily) be modified to suit a late BJ8 ?

Many thanks in advance.

Assuming that this is a 100-6/3000 fender and not a 100 fender it is very easy to tell and is easily modified if it is not your type. At the door edge of the fender on the inside there is a stop that screws into the hinge pillar. On the roadsters this stop is parallel to the edge of the fender and on the convertibles it is not. Deeper at the top than at the bottom. If you need to modify it, British Car Specialties carries the part from Kilmartin.

One other item, there is a very small notch taken out of the top of the fender at the very rear for the windshield post clearance. I do not believe the roadster fender has this.
