Front crossmember install

Offline
Took about an hour to remove the stock crossmember and install the new one from FastCars, Inc. (Obviously, no brake hydraulics, etc finished.

The tires are in the engine bay due to the risk of the GT tilting off of the lift in the absense of the engine or a front crossmember. (She got REALLY light in the nose)

The stock crossmember weighed in at #180 including anti-sway bar and steering rack and shaft.

The FastCars unit weighed in at #105 without an anti-sway bar or steering shaft (but included rack)

Glad you explained about the tires! I was just gonna write a big blurb about how they don't fit like that HA HA!

That looks very cool. Good job Rick

Hap...the Superlites that I got from you will be going on this car, replacing these Montegi 7-spokes seen in the picture.

Rick - what size are those Montegi's?

(Tried to go to your homepage but it says AOL has permanently shut down AOL Hometown.)
