TR5/TR250 Front crankshaft seal

I have the engine all done. Runs great etc. There is a oil leak (surprise) from the front seal at the crankshaft. Not bad but enough to want to fix it. I just took it apart and could not find anything out of sorts. New front plate gasket, new timing cover gasket, new seal and spacer, (which the seal rides on). I oiled up everything when putting it together. What advice do any of you informative (experience ) guys have?
