TR2/3/3A Front coil springs?

I'm still running the original coil springs on my "rolling restoration".:driving: I've replaced most everything else of a mechanical nature on the car including rear leaf springs. How do 62 year old coil springs affect front end alignment, tire wear and ride? As far as new springs go are they basically the same from all suppliers or are some better than others? Are there any issues with the springs being too firm or not being the correct height?

If they are not broken, use them again. Springs in normal service will last hundreds of thousands of miles. Add to that the fact that repro parts leave a LOT to be desired, and you are always better off using you original springs so long as they are not sagging or broken.
