I'm considering using a set of rubber Triumph front coil seats as a replacement/alternative for the extortionately expensive ones on a Jensen-Healey. Does anyone have, or know off-hand the dimensions for those used on TR6s?
What I need is a seat that is roughly 4.5 inches across and .25 inch thick on the top, where it cushions the spring, with an opening of approximately 3 inches diameter and a lip that extended down the inside of the spring about an inch deep. the lip is about 1/8 inch thick.
Would a TR6 spring seat fit? I'm wondering about part 57 from this Rimmer Brothers Parts Catalogue.
